I was "matched up" with Laurel and 2 others in Fall 2003 to be the "random" roommate to make up the 4th in a 4 bedroom apartment when I decided to transfer to University of Arizona my sophmore year. Moving to Tucson, AZ not knowing anybody, never living more than 2 hours from home and now I was a 14 hour drive, and starting a new school, I could not have been happier when I met Laurel and found out she was going to be my roommate (and on my side of the apartment)! We hit it off and bonded very quickly which has led to a lifelong friendship.
We have spent numerous hours talking about nothing and everything, celebrating birthdays (including my 21st birthday in picture below)

many nights out on the town in Tucson, Pheonix, and Newport Beach
a trip to Disneyland,
a New Years Eve in San Francisco
and one going away party to celebrate new adventures in New York for Miss Laurel! We all came together to celebrate our friendship with a wonderful woman that we will miss having on the west coast. I know that I cannot wait to visit her in New York and know we will have many long-distance phone conversations in our future! I have been so lucky to have such a dear friend in my life and look forward to all that New York has in store for her! Love you Laurel and "see you later"!
